This is me, sitting in one of my favorite vehicles ever invented. The tank. The tank however is only a miniscule section of the broad topic I love called history. History has fascinated me for years, especially wars and conflicts. The heroic acts and deep personalities that go with history captivate me. But before I go any further, as I can quite easily, I want to share my personal philosophy. History shouldn't be learned, it should be understood. Numbers will never give the full grasp of an event, only experiencing it will. And so as history is explored, the closest thing to being there is the goal. This is my unwritten quest.
